My name is Otto Rascon and thanks for checking out my blog. So why a blog? So glad you asked - I love photographing weddings and family portraits, but I also love shooting other types of events and writing is very important to me. So this blog allows me to communicate and share more of myself and my images with you.

I am from the awesome city of Chicago. I love photographing people! Seriously, what other profession would allow me to interact with amazing people, provide them with a meaningful product, and allows for some major fun and creativity?

Children grow up so fast and wedding day memories quickly fade only to be remembered by the photos in the album. Capturing fleeting moments is very important to me, that is why I love photographing weddings and families. I love seeing how my photographs enrich and bring color to peoples lives. Brian + Lauren // Rock Island Wedding Photos

Thanks again to Lauren and Brian for a very fun wedding in Rock Island, Illinois. What a very energetic and fun couple, and very giving couple as well. All of their friends and family were a blast to be around, as you can tell by all of the laughs and smiles. I loved the cup cake idea! Lauren made all of them, and they were good. We had a beautiful day, though we did get rained on for just a moment. After the rain went away we were showered with plenty of sunlight and beautiful blue skies, which made for incredible portrait lighting. We also got that sweet looking rainbow. Very cool. I want to thank the Hensels again for having me be a part of their wedding. Thanks guys!
