Brian + Lauren // Rock Island Wedding Photos

Thanks again to Lauren and Brian for a very fun wedding in Rock Island, Illinois. What a very energetic and fun couple, and very giving couple as well. All of their friends and family were a blast to be around, as you can tell by all of the laughs and smiles. I loved the cup cake idea! Lauren made all of them, and they were good. We had a beautiful day, though we did get rained on for just a moment. After the rain went away we were showered with plenty of sunlight and beautiful blue skies, which made for incredible portrait lighting. We also got that sweet looking rainbow. Very cool. I want to thank the Hensels again for having me be a part of their wedding. Thanks guys!

I want to thank the Jones and the Unander families for a wonderful wedding experience. This was a very fun wedding, though the weather was a little less than ideal. But bride and groom were both up for walking around Navy Pier and around the Adler Planetarium after the ceremony. I really did appreciate their willingness to walk around in the cold and fog, as we were able to get some beautiful shots near Olive Park.

The reception was held at the gorgeous Sutton Place Hotel. We were able to take a few portraits up in their suite, which overlooked the city of Chicago (breathtaking view!). After the portraits I was able to go downstairs and take some photos of the guests and family. The night was kept lively by Madeleine Kuhns of Toast & Jam DJs. The bridal party arrived and the rest of the evening was kicked off. Plenty of great food and dancing ended the night. Thank you all again for a great evening. Steve + Jackie // Chicago Wedding Photography

I first of all want to thank Steve and Jackie, and both the Anderson and Sokolowski families, for having me be a part of their day of celebration. They are both such fun and generous people. Above are just a few samples of the February 9th wedding. What a fun time I had that day. From funny/hilarious conversations during the bridesmaids getting ready, to guests dancing to some AC/DC during the reception. Oh, did I mention the "fake cake"? I hope for the very best to Steve and Jackie, and to their entire families. Thank you all!
