Every now and then I find sites that really excite me. Most of the sites that excite me often have something to offer the reader, or to the community that it is targeting. I am so amazed at the great amount of information that is out there concerning graphic design. But not only is the information out there, it is really good and informative!
I cam across this site just the other day: Web Design Ledger. On this site they have compiled sites that have stunning typography. Some are just eye-candy and some teach and inform the reader. Sites like this provide continued education. Think about it. Many of us went to art school to learn about design, type, etc. But now we can keep current and learn and mature in our understanding. That is pretty darn amazing to me!

Smashing Magazine is one of my favorite design blogs. Period. They have so much to offer the design and dev communities. I cannot imagine them not being around. Some of the information that they offer is absolutely and amazingly useful.
Todays posting was on free fonts. You might be tempted to think “yeah, I bet those free fonts stink.” But that is not the case at all. These are really useful fonts. Some are really NICE. I have learned through countless downloads that SM does not put garbage up on their site. Check them out, they are amazing. But be warned… you will get hooked.

I am always looking for type-inspired websites to add to my bookmarks. Very rarely does a site stand out from amongst the crowd. In fact, it seems that the internet is full of copy-cats that post the same stuff over and over again. So I was pretty stoked to have come across typophile the other day. It is one of those sites that you should check out at home since you will be spending more than a few minutes looking and gazing at the great work that is displayed there.
